Mission Statement

Fresh Water for All Inc. is a non-profit organization with one simple goal: To bring fresh clean water to where it isn't. Through both innovative new technologies and reliable old technologies we plan to both bring fresh water to areas that don't have it and provide methods of cleaning fresh water where it's available but not potable. We see ourselves as picking up the slack between for-profit corporations and the government. Issues that offer no profit or political gain are often ignored, especially when it concerns water shortage. We at Fresh Water for All Inc. are instead motivated by what humanity needs, and one thing it needs above all is fresh clean water. We want to improve lives, make inhospitable areas comfortable to live in, and help to rebuild the infrastructure that has been so badly neglected.

Goals

The Fresh Water for All Project has many goals to take on many problems. We want to take on water problems from all sides to make sure that not only is there plenty of water to go around, but the means to use it and clean it too.

Goal 1

Our first goal is to bring water to where it isn't. Dry desert areas are inhospitable to people and the food people grow, and with a growing population we need more fresh water in more places. We envision a world with a lot less desert and a lot more room. It starts with seawater channels leading to a dry desert region. We then put up massive solar stills, using the Sun (Which is in abundance in the desert) to do the work for us creating fresh water sources. That water can be used to transform the surrounding area from a desert to an oasis where people and crops can grow.

Goal 2

Our second goal is to clean sources of fresh water we already have. One way to do this is to provide places that might have water but it isn't very clean and safe with filtration systems. We want to help supply places with Lifesaver water purification systems.  These filters are amazing and  can clean pretty much any source of water. We can build up funds and buy these systems in bulk and give them out to areas in need.

Goal 3

Rebuilding an aging infrastructure. Our water infrastructure is old and falling apart. There are hundreds of thousands of water main breaks every year and the problem is getting worse. Providing all the fresh clean water in the world doesn't do any good if we have no pipes to use it. Too many places are selling off the water infrastructure to let private companies deal with the problem, and that is a dangerous option. Water is a public resource, not a commodity to be sold to the highest bidder. Once the project moves forward we plan on working with towns and cities to rebuild our water infrastructure to ensure that future generations aren't left without plumbing.

Branching Out

Once we've brought water to areas that don't have it and helped clean water sources that already exist, we want to branch out further. First we'll be focusing on US, but we want to branch out to the world. Once we have working seawater channels and solar stills here in the US we can use those as templates for doing the same throughout the developing world. We can go to places that have water and give them ways to clean it. We can go to places that rely on water from other regions and give them new sources of fresh water. We can help developing areas build pipes and water systems so that water is as available there as it is in the rest of the world.

We want everyone in the world to be able to turn a knob and have fresh clean water.

We need your help! Donate what you can, and share this using one of the social sharing buttons available all over the site. Even if all you can do is help us tell people about the Fresh Water for All project it would be a big help for making our goals a reality.
